Difference and Repetition

The basic funtion of a box is to enclose space.  This investigations studies the evolution of the box as it changes and transforms with each operation of opening and closing, while remaining the same.  Finding difference in repetition and always maintaing its nature to envelop space.

Difference and repetition has a reality that is independent to the concepts of equality, identity, similarity or equivalence.  Repetition can be variable and contain the difference within.

Phase I

boxes are opened and transformed; deviations start to occur.

Phase II

deviations are diagramed vertically and horizontally.

vertical deviations

horizontal deviations

general deviations

Phase III

boxes are closed in their new position.

Phase IV

boxes are diagrammed in their new opened position. we can observe that boxes start to overlap creating densities and space.

Phase V

materialization of phase IV.
